BMA to install 200 more water refill stations to quench Bangkok’s thirst

The Bangkok Metropolitan Administration’s “Bottle Free Seas” project, which saw the installation of 10 drinking water refill points citywide, has been so successful that it is planning to install another 200 such stations.

Thai Beverage Plc (ThaiBev) and partners are inviting people to donate PET plastic bottles to be recycled into blankets for underprivileged people and remote communities.
The Federation of Thai Industries (FTI) and the Thai Industrial Standards Institute (TISI) are collaborating to promote effective recycling of PET plastic bottles to reduce wastes and greenhouse gas emissions.
